The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Akii Ibhadode, FAS, on behalf of Council,
Senate, Congregation and Convocation, the Federal University of
Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), cordially invites all graduands of
2016/2017 & 2017/2018 academic sessions and the general public to
its Second
Convocation Ceremony for the Award of First Degrees, PGD,
Certificates and Prizes, conferment of Honorary Degrees and Induction
of Friends of FUPRE. Detailed programme of activities are as stated

April 27 – CONVOCATION CEREMONY Presentation of Prizes and Award of
Degrees / Conferment of Honorary Degrees/Induction of Friends of FUPRE
Venue: University Open Arena
Time: 10am (Guests are expected to be seated at 9:00am)
CONVOCATION LUNCHEVenue: Students Building
Time: 1:30pm – 3:00pm

RECOMMENDED POST:  Governing Council Appoints New NSUK Vice Chancellor

NOTE:

• All
  graduating students and other guests are expected to be seated at
  9:00am. Nobody, including Graduands and their Parents/Guardians, will be
  admitted into the Convocation Arena after 9:00am.
• Graduands are not expected to leave the Convocation venue before the end of the ceremony.
• Graduating
  students are advised to collect their academic robes, order of
  proceedings, Scroll for Certificate and two Guests’ cards from the
  University’s Academic Division between 10:00am-2:00pm from Tuesday April
  16 – Thursday April 25, 2019 on payment of the sum of Ten Thousand
  Naira (N10,000) only through Remita into the University’s Account for
  the hiring of gown.

• The gowns are expected to be returned on or
  before Tuesday, April 30, 2019. Return of gown after April 30, 2019
  attracts the payment of the sum of N15,000 each day while failure to
  return gown attracts payment of N35,000 only as penalty.

The
